METAL FABRICATION
Hot Rolled Steel
This type of steel is very versatile and can be used in many fabricating applications were strength and durability are required. Can be used in structural and design part applications. We stock a variety of gauges and sizes; this helps reduce the lead time for our customers when ordering finished parts.
We regularly carry sheets sizes of up to 60” X 144” with thickness ranges from 16 gauge (0.060”) to 1 inch. Checker Plate: 14 Gauge (.075”) to 1/2 inch for use primarily in steel stairs.
Stainless Steel
Can be used in design and structural applications. This material will offer good protection against corrosion is durable, has great longevity and can be easily formed. Stainless is available in many grades and surface finishes. Most common uses are architecture, construction, automotive, energy, heavy industry, food and catering.
We carry inventory in sheet sizes up to 60” X 144” with thickness range from 20 G (0.036”) to 3/4″
Aluminum
Aluminum is relatively light weight compared to other metals but provides corrosion resistance and strong durability. Can be used for indoor or outdoor applications, easily formed and provides strong structural support. Most common uses are electrical, construction, transportation and consumer goods industries.
We carry inventory in sheet sizes up to 60” X 120” with thickness range from 20 G (0.036”) to 1/2″ Checker Plate: 1/8” to 3/8” thickness
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel sheets have applications in construction, automotive, appliances and electronic equipment. A protective zinc coating offers additional protection against corrosion. It is easily shaped and formed into a wide variety of parts.
We carry inventory in sheets up to 60” 144” and thickness of 20 Gauge ( .040”) to 10 Gauge ( .138”)
Satin Coat
Satin coat steel is galvanized at the mill and various coatings are applied to convert the galvanizing to zinc-iron alloys. This steel is well suited to painting. Common uses include the manufacture of trailers, fireplaces, signs, machine covers and automotive applications. The coating is also called galvannealed steel. Resistant to rust.
We can source sheets up to 60” 144” and thickness of 20 Gauge ( .040”) to 10 Gauge ( .138”) similar to galvanized.
